Apply for a residential lot in an approved government subdivision.

Overview

Residential lots are allocated in planned government subdivisions to support family homeownership and orderly community growth.

Who can apply

  • Bahamian citizens 18 years or older
  • Applicants without an existing government lot allocation
  • Households meeting published income criteria

Required documents

  • Valid passport
  • NIB card
  • Job letter
  • Recent pay slips
  • Proof of residence

Application steps

  1. 1
    Review available subdivisions

    Identify subdivisions with current availability.

  2. 2
    Submit lot application

    Complete the lot purchase application.

  3. 3
    Allocation review

    Applications are reviewed in order received.

  4. 4
    Offer & deposit

    Successful applicants receive an offer and pay a deposit.

  5. 5
    Conveyance

    Complete legal conveyance to take title.
