Conveyance & Title Transfer

Complete the legal transfer of ownership for a government house.

Overview

Conveyance is the legal process by which ownership of a property is transferred from one party to another. The Ministry coordinates conveyance for government housing once all programme requirements are satisfied.

Independent legal counsel is strongly recommended.

Who can apply

  • Approved purchasers of government housing
  • Households that have completed deposit and financing requirements

Required documents

  • Final mortgage approval
  • Identification
  • Proof of insurance
  • Stamp duty payment (where applicable)

Application steps

    Complete financing

    Confirm final mortgage approval with your lender.

  2. 2
    Document preparation

    Ministry legal staff prepare conveyance documents.

  3. 3
    Signing & registration

    Documents are signed and registered with the Registrar General.

  4. 4
    Receive title

    Title is delivered upon successful registration.
