Land Reform

Expanding fair and responsible access to land

The Ministry leads The Bahamas' efforts to modernise land policy, deliver transparent allocation processes, and grow well-planned communities.

Why land reform matters

Land is foundational to family stability, business creation, and national development. The Government's land reform agenda focuses on fair allocation, modernised processes, and stronger citizen access to information about land in The Bahamas.

We work alongside other ministries, the Lands and Surveys Department, and community stakeholders to ensure that land programmes deliver real outcomes for Bahamian households and small businesses.
